Donations

that you think might benefit CBC, please contact Peter
Durant at

In-Kind and
Professional Services
Many companies and professionals have donated their valuable
time, products, and expertise to CBC. Examples include
New Bedford Yacht Club who donate the hauling and launching of our
boats.
Volunteer
CBC's first volunteer was Hannah Moore who summoned a small
group of volunteers to get the resources and support
necessary to create Community Boating Center in 1995.
Today, volunteers can help with a variety of tasks at CBC,
especially during the busy summer season. CBC
schedules "Work Parties" where volunteer work crews help
CBC prepare boats for the season, spruce up the boathouse,
etc. For more information contact Peter Durant at
pdurant@communityboating.org or 508-992-6219.
Corporate
Service Days
CBC also hosts Corporate Work Days. Companies donate
their employees' time to complete important projects for
CBC. Companies have found this to be a fabulous
teambuilding activity and a way to connect to the local
community. To schedule you Corporate Service Day
contact Peter Durant at
pdurant@communityboating.org or 508-992-6219 for more
information.
