Bus transportation is a service we provide along with Neves Bus Company. It is
our goal to provide the safest experience possible for all participants.
Participants are always supervised on the bus. Each day the bus driver will
greet the campers and take attendance at pick up, at CBC, and at drop off. Bus
drivers are not allowed to transport any medication for campers. Parent
questions or concerns regarding bus safety and procedures can be made to Neves
Bus Co at 508-994-5632 or CBC at 508-992-6219.
All CBC students being dropped off at a bus stop are to be
met at their bus stops by a parent/guardian or designated
person when being dropped off. Neves bus drivers are
instructed not to leave a child alone without a
parent/guardian or designated person acknowledging their
presence unless a waiver has been signed. In the event that
someone is not at the bus stop to receive a child, the bus
driver will contact the CBC office and report the situation.
A reasonable effort will be made to contact a
parent/guardian. If contact or arrangements cannot be made,
the child will be returned to CBC (1641 Padanaram Avenue) at
the end of the bus run.
Bus Stops
~ Arrive at self-designated stop 5 to 10 minutes earlier
than scheduled
~ Parents are responsible for their children until the bus
arrives
~ Prior to the bus arrival please do not leave campers
unattended
~ CAMPERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED OFF THE BUS UNTIL AN
AUTHORIZED ADULT IS VERIFIED.
Walking Home From A Stop
~Only available for campers 11 years or older.
~Younger children may walk home if accompanied by an older
sibling in the program, and if the release and waiver forms
have been signed.
~Parents must have designated this option on the
registration form or notified the office via phone prior to
the session
~Campers without prior approval to walk home will remain on
the bus and be returned to CBC at 1641 Padanaram Avenue and
will remain until picked up by the parent or guardian
no later than 4 PM.
Parents Arriving Late To Stops
~ Parents with unplanned delays should call the office to
arrange alternative plans.
~ Buses will leave a stop after notifying the camp of a late
arriving parent.
~ Campers remaining on the bus will be brought to the CBC at
1641 Padanaram Avenue and will remain until picked up by the
parent or guardian no later than 4 PM.
