CBC Youth Offshore Team

CBC Youth Offshore Team

Our Goal

Our youth offshore team is racing to Bermuda, but the finish line is only part of the story. The real goal is to prove to young people everywhere that no dream is too big when you have the opportunity, support, and determination to pursue it. By raising $200,000, we will train and equip our team – and tell their journey in a way that inspires others to see that anything is possible. Together, we can transform this race into a story of courage, growth, and leadership that resonates far beyond the sailing world.

Learn By Doing

The offshore program has logged over 7,500 nautical miles in 4 seasons with 150 participants.

  • Teamwork Basic Training 3-Day Boot camp for CBC Junior Instructors
  • Intermediate Program for overnight race-training
  • Safety at Sea training and certification
  • Leadership training in a dynamic environment
  • 2025 donation of the Baltic 50 Crazy Horse allows us to go farther
  • 2025 Marblehead to Halifax – CBC Youth Offshore team on Crazy Horse won our division
  • 2026 Goal: Newport to Bermuda Race
